| 20.06.-27.06.2010 Jivamukti Gabriela & Petros The Jivamukti Immersion takes you deeper into the study of Jivamukti Yoga and its five tenets - Ahimsa, Scripture, Meditation, Nada and Bhakti. It is perfect for those wishing to delve into the practical and mystical practices of Jivamukti yoga. Jivamukti's passionate focus on the original meaning of the Sanskrit word "asana" -- as seat, connection--relationship to the earth -- is as practical as it is radical during this time of global consciousness shift. A Jivamukti Immersion provides great opportunities to make breakthroughs in asana practice, detox your body/heart/mind, and more deeply integrate your individual self with the greater reality. Because of the world-wide popularity of Jivamukti Yoga, immersions attract students from all over the world, enabling you to meet new friends from many diverse places building stronger yoga communities locally and globally. This is also a great chance to catch up with fellow students and alumni from previous Jivamukti Teacher Trainings. We are highly recommending this immersion to those who might be interested in taking the Jivamukti Teacher Training Course, but would like to experience a more relaxed “sample-taste” first before committing to the month-long course. The five day week will include: daily Asana and Meditation practice Chanting & Bhakti Yoga Asana practical Scripture Exploration: i.e. The Yoga Sutra, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Bhagavad Gita Ahimsa: Peaceful lifestyle emphasizing the integration of ethical vegetarianism Vinyasa, Krama and Ksana: Lecture and practical Meditation & Nada: Connecting to inner stillness and understanding the mechanics of the mind The integration of Karma, Jnana & Bhakti Yoga Q & A sessions with Gabriela & Petros—a chance for you to ask the questions you always wanted to ask.
